- Acorp offers the best in high-speed Data & Fax communication products. This includes a complete line of high-speed modems with an internet download capability of up to 56kbps and an upload capability of 48kbps.
Voice & Fax: Your Home Paperless Office
- When used with the suitable software you can take advantage of multiple Acorp voice and fax modem features including:
- Send & Receive faxes from your PC: Using the supplied software, Acorp modems can be used to quickly and simply send and receive faxes at 14400 directly from your computer.
- Telephone Answerphone Machine: Use the Acorp modem as an answering machine on your PC.
- Call discrimination: Acorp modems can automatically tell the difference between a fax and voice call once answered. With call discrimination you don't need to pay extra to subscribe to FaxStream Duet/faxAbility.
Quick & Easy Installation
- Here at Acorp, we know how frustrating computers can be. Thats why we've written our own Quick Set-up Guide to minimise that frustration. Plus, if you do run into any trouble, help is only an email or phone call away with Acorp’s Technical Support.
- Acorp modems are also fully supported by Windows Plug and Play, making installation a simple process of a few clicks - you don't have to be a computer expert to install an Acorp modem.

V.44 is the latest ITU-approved standard for compressing data for faster throughput. Data compression increases the effective speed of an Internet connection by analyzing the data and encoding it so that it can be sent more efficiently. V.44 was developed specifically with the goal of improving real time Internet use. The most notable benefit for Internet users is the ability to browse the Web at higher apparent speeds.
